Steps to Participate in Self-Selection
Your time ticket will show the earliest date and time that you may log into MyHousing and participate in Self-Selection. Your time ticket will be emailed to you in a 24-hour format. You can also look up your time ticket by logging into Myhousing. Your time ticket will appear when you hold your mouse over the Room Self Selection step.
- Log into MyHousing and go to your “Undergraduate 2014-2015” Housing Application. Select the application by clicking in the radio button and click on “Save & Continue”
- You should see the step “Room Self Selection” in the menu.
- You will view information about the available buildings on the “Main” page the click “Save & Continue”
- This will take you to the Room Search Wizard. There are four steps to the Room Search Wizard:
Building > Floor > Rooms > Beds
- Select a Building by clicking on the name of the building.
- You will see a list of suites or floors. Highlight a floor or suite then scroll to the very bottom of the page and click “Save & Continue”
- You will see a list of available rooms within the floor or suite. If it says 2/2 then 2 of the 2 beds are available. If it says 2/3 then only 2 of the 3 beds in the room are available. Click on the room you would like to live in. If you are selecting for a preferred roommate group then you must click on ALL of the rooms necessary for your ENTIRE group. If you have 7 people in your preferred roommate group then you must click on all three rooms in the suite. Then click “Save & Continue.”
- Reserve your bed by selecting it from the drop down menu. If you have preferred roommates you will also assign them to a bed. You MUST assign your roommates to a bed during this step or you will NOT be assigned together. Click on “Reserve Beds” to complete your Self Selection. IMPORTANT: Clicking on Reserve Beds makes your selection FINAL. Once you click on “Reserve Beds” your assignment cannot be changed. Be sure to review your selections carefully before clicking “Reserve Beds.”
- Check Your Drexel Email. Confirmation will be sent via email when your Self-Selection is completed. Room Reservation and Occupancy Information details will be listed for Fall 2014 only. MyHousing will be updated at a later date with your specific information for future quarters.
