Freshmen and Transfer Student Applications

Freshmen and Transfer students entering Drexel University for the Fall 2012 academic term can apply for Housing beginning Friday, March 23, 2012.

To prepare for Freshmen Applications to open:

1. Review options

Start reviewing your housing options and take a virtual tour of the freshmen residence halls.

2. Think about roommates

Do you have any preferred roommates? If so, coordinate with them now and ensure that everyone is aware that they must request each other on the Housing Application! You will need their Last Name, First Name, and their Drexel University User ID (i.e. abc124) to list them as a preferred roommate on the application. Students must list each other in order to be a valid roommate pair.

If you do not have preferred roommates, don't worry! On the Housing Application, you can create a roommate profile, search for compatible roommates using the profile, or let the MyHousing system recommend a roommate based on the answers to your profile.

Or, you can bypass this section completely! You will be able to update your preferred roommate during Orientation or as more students enter profile information.

3. Smile!

Locate a picture to use for your DragonCard! Your DragonCard is your Official Drexel University Identification Card and will be issued upon your arrival on campus for Fall 2012 New Student Days. You can submit a picture online for use on your DragonCard starting in late March 2012.
