Corporate & Public Relations
The study of corporate & public relations provides training for the fast-paced professions of public relations, advertising, management training, employee and consumer communications, government relations, and business writing. The U.S. Department of Labor projects strong growth in the field through the next decade.

Technical and Science Communication
The study of technical and science communication provides the background needed to pursue careers in writing for the Web, software documentation, medical writing, and technical writing and editing. Drexel’s graduates are in great demand and move quickly to the center of an industry integral to today’s society.

Global Journalism

The study of global journalism merges the craft of journalism with knowledge of a technologically sophisticated international environment. Graduates of this program will be in demand by news and information services as they expand their global reach.



After Graduation

Overall, Drexel’s graduates enjoy a high placement rate. Last year, 91 percent of the University’s June graduates who had taken a full-time job found employment related to their undergraduate major. For graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, the average starting salary was $30,000 for arts and humanities majors and $44,000 for majors in the sciences.
Most communication students have gone on to work for regional and national corporations. For other graduates, the flexible degree has been the springboard to top graduate communication programs and business and law schools.
