Dave Augenblick is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Computer Science Department at Drexel University. He has been on the CS faculty there since 2007 and has previously taught in Drexel's Evening College of Professional Studies from 1984 through 2006. While at the Evening College, he was the recipient of the Stanley J. Gwiazda Professorship in 2003-2004 for teaching excellence. In addition to his Drexel experience, Dave worked in the oil industry at Sunoco for 33 years (1974-2007) as a Chemical Engineer / Systems Consultant, where he held a wide variety of positions, including manager of systems development project management team, manager of numerous major refinery computer application implementation projects and senior business consultant for project justification. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University (1970) and the University of Pennsylvania (1974 - with a concentration in Information Systems from the Wharton Business School) respectively.
