Social Security 201: An Overview
Tuesday, September 26, 2017
12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Social Security is one of the
biggest decisions you will make about your retirement. For many, Social
Security will represent an important piece of retirement cash flow. In this
workshop we will discuss the BIG QUESTIONS: How much will I get and when should
I start collecting? We will break down how benefits are calculated, what to
consider when filing for Social Security, rules and timing, working and
collecting, tax implications, and recent changes.
Come learn more about the answer to these
questions with Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. All participants are asked
to bring a copy of their most recent Social Security statement. To access a
copy of your statement, please sign-up for an account at https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ and
download a statement.
RSVP required. Please register in Career Pathway.
