Domestic Violence: Understanding the Cycle of Violence

Thursday, February 7, 2013

5:00 PM-6:30 PM

Join the College of Arts and Sciences' Women’s Studies program as we present “Domestic Violence: Understanding the Cycle of Violence.”

This panel discussion will cover topics including: why people stay in abusive relationships, warning signs, and how to help a friend who is in an abusive relationship. This will be a judgment-free zone. We invite you to come, learn, share, or remain silent… it’s up to you.

This event will feature panelists Dr. Candace Wannamaker (Director, Drexel Victim Support & Intervention Services), Dr. Dina Goldstein Silverman (Psychologist), a representative from Penn Women’s Center, and Dr. Rose Corrigan, Director of the Women’s Studies program.

This is a "CEO LEAD Certified" Workshop.  For more details, visit http://drexel.edu/oca/leadership. All are welcome.
