Now Accepting Paper and Panel Submissions for EC/ASECS Annual Meeting
March 4, 2013 — Scholars and graduate students working in research areas relevant to the 18th century are invited to submit papers and panel suggestions for the East-Central/American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies’ annual fall meeting, “Retirement, Reappraisal, and Renewal in the Eighteenth Century.” While topics related to the meeting’s theme are encouraged, any scholarly inquiry pertinent to the 18th century is welcome.
This year’s meeting will be held November 7-9, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel in Philadelphia (237 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107). Please submit inquiries and suggestions for panels by March 15th and abstracts of papers by June 15th to Doreen Alvarez Saar, former EC/ASECS president and professor in the Department of English and Philosophy, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The East-Central/American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies is an affiliate of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), an interdisciplinary group dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in all aspects of the 18th century.
