The Fifth Annual Week of Writing
By Maia Livengood
April 21, 2010 —
During the week of May 17th, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of English and Philosophy will once again host the Week of Writing. This annual event will include readings and panel discussions on topics ranging from flash fiction, to stand-up comedy, to technology’s influence on writing. Renowned poets Carl Phillips and Margaret Rhonda will read on Thursday, May 20, and the headline event, the Painted Bride Quarterly's "Bookfair for Literacy," will be held on Friday, May 21st.
The Week of Writing provides the Drexel student body and larger Philadelphia community with the opportunity to explore their interests in English and literature. All Week of Writing events will take place in the Creese Student Center and Mandell Lobby, both accessible via Chestnut Street entrances. Please check the individual event schedule for more details.
Update: Full coverage of the Week of Writing panel discussions is now available.
