College of Arts and Sciences Celebrates Student Achievement on Honors Day 2026

Honors Day 2026

June 2, 2026

The College of Arts and Sciences celebrated Honors Day on Thursday, May 21. This annual event gives our faculty, staff and alumni an opportunity to honor our students’ achievements in the classroom, lab and community.

Over 100 students were recognized with awards at this year’s Honors Day, underscoring the value of the scholarship and research students conduct in the college year after year. All students who received awards have maintained impressive records that set them apart from their peers. Honors are awarded on a range of criteria including academic achievement, research, student participation, community engagement, mentorship, essay submission and outstanding personal character. We thank our donors for their generosity, partnership and belief in our students.

“This has easily become one of my favorite traditions here at the college because we get to celebrate the academic achievements of our most accomplished students,” said Dean David Brown, PhD. “These students have proven that they are dedicated to their studies through scholarship and research, and we are proud to honor them for being leaders in their fields, engaging their communities and taking action towards positive change.”

Congratulations to all of our student honorees! See the full list of awards and honorees below.
