Announcing the 2026 College of Arts and Sciences Commencement Speakers

We are pleased to announce the keynote and student speakers for the College of Arts and Sciences’ 2026 Commencement ceremony to be held Thursday, June 11 at 12:30 p.m., at the Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts.


Danielle Reinhart

Danielle Reinhart '99

Danielle Reinhart '99 will serve as our 2026 keynote speaker. Danielle is a proven, trusted leader with over 25 years of analytical, data and financial expertise with a master's in finance and bachelor's in mathematics from Drexel University. Danielle is the Vice President of Data Intelligence & Governance for Unisys, with strong knowledge of data management, data governance, machine learning, AI and service delivery analytics. She is currently leading the effort to implement a data governance program and build a modernized single data platform that will service the entire enterprise ensuring secure and trusted data. Prior to this role, Danielle ran Unisys’ advanced analytics team and developed several case studies to showcase globally and raise awareness of the team’ capabilities. 

Danielle is excited to speak at her alma mater as the commencement keynote and hopes to bring a sense of optimism and inspiration to the class of 2026!

Jessica Vasserman

Jessica Vasserman

Jessica Vasserman will serve as our 2026 student speaker. Jess will graduate with a BS in biological sciences with a concentration in pathobiology and a minor in Japanese. Her early research experience as a STAR Scholar inspired her to continue to develop her skills in research, problem-solving and team collaboration. For two years, Jess has worked as a student researcher in Dr. Drew Weissman’s Lab at the Penn Institute for RNA Innovation, producing, modifying and purifying mRNA for use in vaccines. She completed her co-op with the Myeloid Diseases, Pharmacology Team at Incyte.

Jess studied abroad in Tokyo and continues to practice her language skills by tutoring Japanese. In her spare time, she bridges her passions for biology and art as a freelance visual artist. Her illustrations have appeared in scientific publications including the Lancet, Frontiers in Physiology and the cover of Springer’s Cardiac Bioelectric Therapy textbook. After a gap year, Jess intends to pursue graduate school.

Jess’s experiences are the perfect examples of the interdisciplinary opportunities that are available in the College of Arts and Sciences.
