In March 2018 Sheller gave a Keynote Address at the Mobilities Pedagogies Symposium at Wilfred Laurier University and the Balsillie School of International Affairs, Waterloo, Canada, where she was also invited to give a Master Class. In April 2018 Sheller also gave an invited lecture in the Cities & Mobilities series at University of Amsterdam, and a Keynote Address for the international project Gendering Smart Mobilities in the Nordic Region - Workshop on Non-Motorized Mobility, at University of Copenhagen. In June 2018 she gave a Keynote Address at the Italian Association of Urbanists Annual Conference at University of Florence, Italy.
