Mobility Futures, Astronauts, Islands, Caribbean Survival and Infrastructural Justice

Mimi Sheller, PhD, professor of sociology and director of the Center for Mobilities Research and Policy delivered an invited lecture on “Uneven Mobility Futures: Inequality, Justice and Power” for the Grinnell College, Center for the Humanities Speaker Series on March 1, 2017. Sheller was at the Kennedy Space Center on March 20th-21st, interviewing Drexel Alumni and astronaut Christopher Ferguson, for her documentary film project, Fly Me to the Moon, with support form the Department of Sociology Research Fund and the Graham Foundation for Advanced Research in the Fine Arts.
