Haley Espel Receives Psi Chi Graduate Research Grant

Hallie Espel, a second year doctoral student advised by Drs. Evan Forman and Michael Lowe, was selected to receive the Fall 2014 Psi Chi Graduate Research Grant. Funds from the $1200 award will be used to support Hallie's thesis project, which is entitled, A Prospective Investigation of Risk Factors for Weight Gain and Loss of Control Eating. The project will examine the role of hedonic hunger, response inhibition, and interoceptive deficits in predicting longitudinal changes in weight and binge eating among college females.
