Kristina Patrick Published as First Author in Pediatrics

August 21, 2013

Through collaboration with pediatric neuropsychologists from Kennedy Krieger Institute, PhD student Kristina Patrick and mentor Doug Chute examined the utility of the Colorado Learning Difficulties Questionnaire as a screening tool for learning disabilities. This questionnaire shows high sensitivity for math and reading disabilities and could be a quick and useful tool for pediatricians when deciding whether to refer children for neuropsychological evaluation. The paper has been accepted for publication in Pediatrics, the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics:
