Bio:

Rosemary Rys is a skilled public relations and marketing professional with over 35 years of diversified experience working closely with commercial real estate, municipal development, business improvement districts, architecture, engineering, interior design, education, legal, medical, international arts, and many other disciplines, as well as various non-profit organizations.

She is a highly effective editor, writer, teacher, advisor and mentor. Other talents include website content development, media relations expertise, and qualifications as a professionally trained voice artist for commercials, audio books and radio.

Prior to joining Drexel full-time in 2011, Rys was an adjunct here for 20 years. She was also an adjunct at Temple for 12 years. She is a former architectural writer, was a magazine/newspaper editor, runs her own small PR consulting firm, and has worked in both agency and corporate settings directing public relations efforts.

Rys is the Faculty Advisor for a student organization known as Drexel Speaks, is a member of the Department of Communication PR Curriculum Committee and serves on the College Relations Committee for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA).
