STS Colloquium Series Presents: Cheryl Holzmeyer

Please join the Center for Science Technology and Society for our second colloquium event of the Winter term! Cheryl Holzmeyer, PhD, will be joining us to discuss her research.

 

Holzmeyer is a postdoctoral research associate of the Public Knowledge Project (pkp.sfu.ca/) at Stanford's Graduate School of Education, where she is investigating open access and open science initiatives, particularly their relevance to public health NGOs. She also studies histories of contemporary STEM fields, approaches to public engagement at science museums, and the politics of STEM education and knowledge.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
