Jose Barcega and Dr. Rose Ann DiMaria-Ghalili Earn Spots on Top 100 Nursing Professors List

Philadelphia, PA, October 1, 2012 — Professors Jose Barcega and Dr. Rose Anna DiMaria-Ghalili have each been awarded a spot on the Top 100 Nursing Professors in 2012 List by BSNtoMSN.org. Professors Barcega and DiMaria-Ghalili were selected based upon the academic rankings of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, the awards and recognitions each has respectively earned, recommendations from their peers, student reviews, and on the quantity and quality of academic publications that have resulted from their work.

The Top 100 List is presented in no particular order, though Professor Barcega, who is an assistant clinical professor in the Physician Assistant Department, can be found at spot #12. Dr. DiMaria-Ghalili, who is featured on the list in the 13th position, has a dual appointment as an associate professor in both the Nutrition Sciences Department and the Doctor of Nursing Practice Department.
