Drexel University’s Online Nursing Programs Earn Top Honors in U.S. News and World Report Rankings

Philadelphia, PA, January 17, 2012 — US News and World Report Education BadgeDrexel University ranked 2nd in the nation for its online graduate nursing program according to  U.S. News and World Report’s inaugural online college rankings. The rankings mark the first time that the magazine has evaluated online higher education programs.

Receiving special acclaim for “Student Services and Technology” and “Student Engagement and Accreditation,” Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions offers Bachelor’s of Nursing (BSN), Master’s of Nursing (MSN), and highly-lauded Doctor of Nursing Practice (DrNP) degrees online, as well as several specialized post-Bachelor’s certificate programs.

The faculty, staff and leadership of our  DNP, MSN and RN-BSN online programs constantly monitor course and instructional quality, outcomes and student satisfaction and use the findings to innovate and improve.”

Drexel University, a private non-profit institution located in Philadelphia, PA, has earned on-campus recognition from U.S. News and World Report before, including a 2011 ranking as the 6th-highest “Up-and-Coming” college in the nation and a top-100 institution overall.
