Drexel's Couple and Family Therapy Department Chair Appointed COAMFTE Commissioner
Philadelphia, PA, July 20, 2011 —
On June 30, 2011 the
American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) announced the appointment of
Stephanie Brooks, Ph.D., LCSW, LMFT and Chair of the Couple and Family Therapy Department to the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). The COMAFTE is a specialized accrediting body that accredits master's degree, doctoral degree, and post-graduate degree clinical training programs in marriage and family therapy throughout the United States and Canada.
