Ellen has more than 20 years dance/movement therapy clinical and student supervision experience. She has worked with a wide range of adolescent and adult psychiatric populations. Her specialty work has included practice with people who have mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain. She has presented both her clinical work and program development. In Drexel University's Hahnemann Creative Arts in Therapy Program she directs the dance/movement therapy specialty, teaches dance movement therapy theory and practice courses, advises student thesis research, and teaches professional ethics. She is a member of the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies and the Multicultural Counseling and Development Section of the American Counseling Association. Ellen is on the Board of Directors of the American Dance Therapy Association and serves as chair of the Committee on Approval.
