Lisa Aiello is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She teaches in the undergraduate program, online RN to BSN Completion program, and the online Clinical Trials Research Master’s program.
Aiello obtained her BSN from Villanova University, College of Nursing. She received an MSN from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, specializing in Adult Oncology. She is currently a doctoral candidate (PhD) at Villanova University, specializing in nursing education.
Aiello was the program developer and coordinator of a cancer risk evaluation program in Philadelphia. She is actively involved in the development of genetics and genomics education as well as the integration of genetics and genomics across the curriculum.
Genetics and Genomics
Aiello's research area is evaluating the genetic and genomic knowledge of praciticing nurses enrolled in an RN to BSN nursing completion program. Aiello has experience in the development and management of an evidence-based treatment decision platform for oncology practitioners.
