Research Focus
My research focuses on the factors that contribute to the development of eating behaviors and dietary preferences during infancy and early childhood. I am also interested in how parent-child interactions influence the development of these behaviors and preferences, as well as how parents’ child-feeding practices may promote or override children’s abilities to self-regulate intake. The overarching goal of my research is to inform obesity prevention efforts.
