LaVetta N. Reliford is the Director of the Radiologic Technology program and Clinical Assistant Professor in Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions. She was registered as a Radiologic Technologist in 1982 and received her Associate of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, Technical College. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Health Care Administration from Ottawa University and her Master's of Science in Radiology Sciences, Education from Midwestern State University.
Ms. Reliford maintains professional affiliations with "ARRT" the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist; "ASRT" the American Society of Radiologic Technologist; "AEIRS" Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences; and "ACERT" Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology. Ms. Reliford holds radiation operator certificate in the state(s) of Kentucky, Indiana and New Jersey. She maintains experience in Diagnostic and Cardiovascular Technology and has used this knowledge to launch the radiology and cardiovascular programs at Spencerian College in Louisville, Kentucky. Ms. Reliford is very committed to advanced radiology education and at this time is concentrating her efforts to providing a Bachelor of Science Degree here at Drexel University.
