Brenda Reap-Thompson, MSN, RN is a Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing & Health Professions at Drexel University. She received her BSN from Gwynedd Mercy College in Pennsylvania, an MSN from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. The MSN program of study focused on Adult Health and was in the Education Track. She received the Professional Nurse Traineeship Award at Villanova University.

Her expertise is in test development. She has had the opportunity to be employed with the development and review of test questions for NCLEX under the direction of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Professor Thompson also has an interest in Safety in Healthcare, Infection Control and Legal Issues in Nursing. She has over 20 years experience in nursing and has worked in the areas of Critical Care, Emergency Department, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Risk Management.

She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau the Nu Eta Chapter and the National League for Nursing.
