Dr. Meloy joined the College of Nursing and Health Professions faculty in 2001 after more than twenty-five years of experience in clinical practice, health policy and planning, and health care administration.
During her tenure at Drexel, Dr. Meloy has distinguished herself as a leader in both teaching and administrative roles including: undergraduate and graduate education (in both classroom and online educational formats), Director of Academic Emergency Medical Services Programs, Coordinator for Advanced Practice Leadership Track in Drexel’s MSN program and membership in a number of departmental and university committees and task forces.
Her clinical expertise is in perinatal, critical care, and emergency/trauma nursing.
Dr. Meloy’s research interests focus on exploration of educational strategies and related supports to enhance student academic success.
Recognized as a leader in clinical and administrative roles she has served on multiple committees and task forces for the New Jersey Department of Health, The New Jersey Hospital Association, The NJ Department of Higher Education, The Organization of Nurse Executives, and many local and community professional boards.
