Ann McQueen, DNP is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in both Women's Health and Family Practice and Gerontology. With over 25 years of experience, her clinical career has included Women's Health & Reproductive Endocrinology, Family Practice, and Gerontology. Improving health outcomes by providing high quality health care to the uninsured and underinsured in various clinics conveys one of her many areas of interest. Geriatrics is among her passions in the profession with experience in out-patient settings and serving as an expert lecturer. More recently, McQueen has expanded her clinical practice as an NP in the College Health Center setting.
As Drexel University faculty and an advance practice nurse, McQueen enjoys enriching knowledge of students by educating future nurse practitioner students. She pursued her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree cultivating her interest in Celiac Disease. Her doctoral evidence-based practice initiative focused on Celiac Disease Awareness for Healthcare Providers and she aims to implement more of these educational programs into other healthcare settings.
