Kristen McColligan CRNA, MSN is the Assistant Clinical Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia Department at Drexel University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Scranton in 2003 and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists after completing her Master’s degree from the Nurse Anesthesia program at Drexel University in 2009.
Ms. McColligan has experience as both a clinician and as an educator. She has provided anesthesia care throughout an inclusive range of specialties to a wide range of ages, including neonatal through geriatrics. However, Neurosurgery and Neuro-endovascular has been her primary specialty throughout both her nursing and anesthesia career. Ms. McColligan has served as a clinical preceptor since 2009 and as an adjunct faculty member since 2011.
Ms. McColligan is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists (PANA), and will be pursuing a doctoral degree with focus in research to directly impact clinical practice.
