Angela received her BSN from Georgetown University and her MSN as a CNS in Perinatal Nursing from University of Pennsylvania.
During the ensuing time her primary area of focus has been child and family health nursing which included staff and management experience in the NICU, pediatric and adult home care and hospice agencies, as well as in the community setting. She participated on regional and state wide perinatal planning as well as local issues especially those which affect the health of residents living in the city of Camden, NJ.
Her teaching specialties are Leadership and Community Nursing and her research interest is on teaching compassion as an evidenced based nursing skill.
