Professor Conti joined the Nurse Anesthesia Faculty in June of 2007 after four years of clinical practice. He has and continues to practice both adult and pediatric anesthesia at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His areas of clinical of interest include regional anesthesia in adult and pediatric patients and clinical education in the OR environment. His research areas include hospital organizational structure and patient safety and multi-disiciplinary work models.
He is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists (PANA), having served as past Vice President of the PANA and currently serving a one year elected term on the AANA Resolutions Committee.
As a Center City resident, he enjoys traveling, is an avid runner and likes to entertain.
Professor Conti is also engaged in a doctoral program, pursuing a PhD in Nursing Education from Villanova University.
