Professor Altdoerffer is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
Professor Altdoerffer received her BSN from Penn State University in 2006 and her MSN as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner from Drexel University in 2009. While completing her masters at Drexel she was awarded the “Outstanding Nurse Practitioner Award, Pediatric Track.” She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nurse Practice at the University of Maryland with a projected graduation in spring 2015.
Professor Altdoerffer is board certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner and enjoys practicing with the underserved population.

Professor Altdoerffer is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, active on the Delaware Valley Chapter Legislative Committee, on the AACN’s Graduate Nursing Student Academy’s Leadership Council, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
