Patricia Gerrity, Ph.D., RN, FAAN is the Associate Dean for Community Programs in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She is the Director of the 11th Street Corridor Health Center, a community oriented primary care center in North Philadelphia serving the residents of four housing developments. Dr. Gerrity secured initial funding for the center and continues to attract funding to projects related to the interface between public health and primary care. In recognition of her work nationally, Dr. Gerrity was selected and is currently a Fellow at the International Center for Health Leadership Development, University of Illinois, Chicago, IL.

She has a Ph.D. in Health Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Department of City and Regional Planning; a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Gerrity was elected to Fellowship in the American Academy of Nursing in 1995, an honor held by only 1200 nurses in the United States.
