Mary Gallagher Gordon is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Mary teaches undergraduate nursing students in nursing informatics and synthesis of nursing knowledge. She received her ADN and BSN from Gwynedd Mercy College, her master’s in nursing, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and a post master’s certification in nursing education from Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions. She is currently a doctoral student at Drexel University College of Information, Science and Technology.
Mary’s clinical experience includes neonatal nursing, pediatric inpatient and home care and community health with the pediatric population. Mary received a fellowship to the National Library of Medicine in Medical Informatics in the spring of 2004. She is nationally certified as nurse educator by the National League of Nursing (NLN). Research areas include mobile technology in the undergraduate nursing curriculum. She is an active member of the NLN, and a member of the American Nursing Informatics Association, and the Nu Eta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
