PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) exam is offered by the National League for Nursing (NLN) Academic Nurse Educator Certification Program. According to the NLN, the CNE certification recognizes excellence in the advanced specialty role of the academic nurse educator. This Review for Certification: CNE nursing continuing education program was developed by Drexel University, College of Nursing and Health Professions, Division of Continuing Nursing Education. This program will provide a review of the core competencies for nurse educators, which is the basis for the certified nurse educator exam.

Registered Nurses and all nursing faculty.

To enable the nurse to demonstrate competence through success on the CNE certification exam.

Overall program objective:
Discuss key topics which are examined during the CNE certification exam.

Contact hours:
8.0 Continuing Nursing Education contact hours will be provided.
You must attend the entire program to receive credit.

Accreditation:
Drexel University (DREXEL) College of Nursing and Health Professions, Division of Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

DREXEL also has provider status with California BRN: Provider #CEP13661.
