Purpose/Goal - Certificate in Simulation

The purpose of this program is to provide a comprehensive knowledge of simulation using both the human patient simulator (HPS) and the standardized patient (SP) in nursing & health professions.

Target Audience - Certificate in Simulation

Academic Nursing Faculty, Staff Development, Simulation Lab Coordinators, and Nurses Interested in Simulation.

Overall Program Objectives - Certificate in Simulation

  1. Discuss the creation and management of a simulation center
  2. Describe the creation and implementation of HPS and SP scenarios
  3. Discuss the evaluation process to include debriefing and satisfaction

Nursing Contact Hours

26.25 Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours will be provided.
You must attend the entire program to receive credit.

Requirements for Successful Completion

You must attend the entire program and submit the evaluation form at the end of the program to receive continuing nursing education contact hour credit.
