Emotional Intelligence - What is it and why is it important for entrepreneurs?

Wednesday, February 28, 2018

5:30 PM-7:00 PM

Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to deal effectively with emotions and use them to advance your success in life and in business. Why is it important in today’s workplace and especially important for entrepreneurs?

The head of one of the country’s biggest employment consultancy firms states ““Employers want graduates who are flexible, who can build relationships, connect to others, solve problems, innovate, and work together to achieve results. Emotional intelligence is coming up more and more in employer requests. It’s not enough to be smart in your area of study, you must be smart in emotional intelligence as well to truly succeed.”

In this workshop you will learn about EI, the evidence that it improves your chances for success, the importance of EI in the workplace, and how to best use your EI as founders and leaders.
