Entrepreneurship Improv

Tuesday, October 25, 2016

5:30 PM-8:00 PM

What happens when you get a bunch of startups in the room each of whom has a specific set of challenges and problems? The answer is – you get help! Come to this first-ever unique event called Entrepreneurship Improv where founders will be able to share, collaborate, brainstorm and work to solve current challenges that are facing them.

Come as a participant, and observer or someone who just wants to help. The program content will depend on who is in the room, so come with a set of problems that you’re looking to solve and let’s see what we can do to help through a moderated improvisation approach (meaning it’s going to be loose, fast and where “AND” is the operative word).

The program will be led by Aaron McLean. Aaron is Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Stuzo where he oversees all of Delivery, Operations, and Product, running a team of 40+ people across 3 offices in the US and Eastern Europe. Previously, Aaron founded Eight Eleven Inc., a marketing technology company, eFlex CMS, a Website Content Management company, and Philly Startup Leaders, which became Greater Philadelphia’s largest and most active network of tech startup entrepreneurs. Aaron served as CMO at A Way to Donate, and also as Head of Product and Marketing at EasyCopay, both of which are venture-backed social impact technology ventures. Aaron remains active in the startup community, having been an advisor and mentor to several funded technology startups and startup accelerators including GoodCompany Ventures, PSLU Accelerator, Corzo Center, Curtis Institute of Music, Lean Startup Machine, and EDSI at University of Pennsylvania. Aaron is also a frequent public speaker and has presented for or participated on panel discussions with Google, PHIMA, University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Temple University, University of the Arts, AiPH, and Philly Startup Leaders, among others.
