A startup's intellectual property is one of its most important assets in a startup. Learn the ins and outs of intellectual property strategy including how to setup patents, trademarks and copyrights.
Our speaker is William Grigos. William is a patent attorney at Jones Robb, PLLC, a law firm located just outside of DC specializing in Intellectual Property work. Mr. Grigos represents a wide variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors for the preparation and prosecution of patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent offices in Europe and Asia. Mr. Grigos has substantial experience in patent prosecution, and prosecutes patent applications covering a wide spectrum of technologies for domestic and foreign clients. Previously, Mr. Grigos served a patent examiner at the USPTO. While at the USPTO, Mr. Grigos examined applications related to energy generation and alternative energy technology, as well as control systems for regulating energy generation devices. Mr. Grigos graduated from Drexel University College of Engineering and The Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
