How to Scientifically Increase Your Luck

March 15, 2018

Entrepreneurship is all about taking risks. Even if hard work, discipline and a good idea are what matters the most, opportunity plays a big role in our successes. Thankfully, there are ways to scientifically increase your likelihood of opportunities and help your business or idea become successful. Follow these tips and you’ll see an increase of luck in your life:

It might seem obvious, but just leaving your house can increase your luck. You are more exposed to possibilities outside your house than if you spend the entire day laying on your couch watching Netflix. Every time you leave your comfort zone, you reveal yourself. You are exposed to endless opportunities that can lead to a big job, a connection or investor. Take any opportunity that comes your way, no matter how small it might seem, and you’ll see how your luck suddenly increases.

Believe in your hunches

That voice inside your head telling you to do something is often correct. According to Psychology Today, intuition, guts or hunches happen on the right side of the brain, which is the side that thinks faster. Many researches show how people who followed their intuition repeatedly got the right answer. If increasing your luck is a priority for you, follow your hunches to ensure you will make the right decision.

Be optimistic

You may have heard this over and over again, but envisioning good luck will help you achieve it. You get what you give. By being optimistic and eager to do your tasks, you have a higher chance of succeeding than if you were doing the same tasks without any inspiration or motivation. As former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty”. View the bumps on the road as opportunities to grow, learn and move forward!

Learn from mistakes

This phrase should be engraved on your mind: mistakes are just learning opportunities. For example, famed inventor Thomas Edison failed 1,000 times while trying to achieve his goal of creating the lightbulb. Instead of viewing each trial as a mistake, he simply saw each failure as a solution that didn’t work and ultimately learned from each error. He was optimistic that he was going to succeed, instead of focusing on the bad luck he had so far. After many tries, he helped perfect one of humankind’s biggest inventions!

Practice Feng Shui

Feng Shui principles help increase your luck, productivity and motivation. One of its principles states that spaces should be clean and without clutter. A messy, disorganized and dirty space makes it harder to focus on tasks, as well as to find the right materials to complete your to-do’s.

With these tips you’ll be able to stay lucky throughout the entire year. Stay focused and increase your luck with optimism, intuition and clean office spaces!
