Creative Ways to Thank Your Customers

November 21, 2017

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and the year is coming to an end. It is the perfect time for you to thank the people who made your business possible: your customers. While a simple “thanks” will satisfy some people, you may feel that your customers deserve a more profound symbol of gratitude. Below is a list of creative ways to thank your customers and make them feel appreciated all year round!

Send a Treat:

A box of cookies or pastries from a local bakery is a great way to make your customers feel appreciated. Your customers are going to love seeing a basket of baked good at the office, especially during those cold days of November. Send donuts or delicious Cookie Cups, a company that was baked here at the Close School!

Charitable Donation in Their Honor:

People need random acts of kindness, and you can spread the love during the holidays by making a donation on behalf of your customers. This is a great way to thank them, and simultaneously paying it forwards to a greater good. Consider donating to the victims of Hurricane Maria, Movember, or a local cause like Women Organized Against Rape.

Highlight Them Publicly:

Let your community know about your awesome customers! You can use social media, your blog or newsletter to notify your community about your customer’s success, their background story or fun upcoming promotions. The best part is, you might get a retweet or emails shared from those who are proud of being showcased by you.

Send Samples:

Gifting your customers’ product samples is a great way to make them feel appreciated. This specific gift is great because you provide them a sample of your work. Not only will they taste your products and talk about them, but they will most likely come back for more. Win, win!

Say Happy Anniversary!

Sending a thank you present to your customers doesn’t have to be limited to the holiday season. Add your customer’s anniversaries or important dates to your own calendar, then send a note when the date comes. It is the small things that make a big difference.

Add a Handwritten Note:

It is unbelievable how far a handwritten note can take you. Simply adding a personal touch will make your customers feel appreciated. Add this note to the gift you are sending them for a more sentimental touch.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to thank your customers, and this Thanksgiving season is not the exception! With these creative and unique ways, you will let them know how much you appreciate them.
