Joseph J. Master is a former assistant director of communications for Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, where he oversaw all Web communications and built a successful social media strategy from the ground up. He also served as associate editor and feature writer for LeBow’s award-winning Market Street magazine.
Since coming to Drexel in 2011, Joseph has served as a resource for the University by providing social media strategy tutorials and consulting services for students, faculty and staff.
Previously, Joseph served as a managing editor for Slack Inc., one of the world’s leading healthcare publishers. In addition, Joseph’s writing has appeared in magazines, newspapers, blogs, video screens and national advertising campaigns.
Joseph graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with a dual degree in English Writing and Philosophy. He is a former social media co-chair for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association, the nation’s oldest and largest independent public relations association. Joseph also provides content strategy counsel for a number of startups in the Philadelphia region.
Joseph lives in Haddon Township, NJ, with his wife, Kate, and son, Christian.
