Project Leaders: Aleksandra Sarcevic (CCI), Sage Myers, MD (CHOP), Brendan Carr, MD, MS (HUP, University of Pennsylvania)

About the Project

The primary objective of this study is to understand the documentation process and the role of the nurse recorder as a part of the resuscitation team. The secondary objective is to identify types of information that are recorded in real time directly into the record, as opposed to those that are recorded in a delayed fashion. The ultimate goal is to derive design requirement for a computerā€based documentation tool for trauma resuscitation and assist the CHOP IT team in the development of an interface for such a system.
