CBMEN: Tactical Heterogeneous Ontology Representation

CCI Project Lead: William Regli

About the Project

The proposed Tactical Heterogeneous Ontology Representation (THOR) project aims to develop ontology driven, knowledge based metadata for published content, registrars for applying interest subscription queries over that metadata, and support services for reasoning about caching and forwarding decisions. These products are intended to be used as components embedded within the protocols, infrastructure, and system platforms developed by other CBMEN efforts as part of a total system providing sophisticated, effective content based messaging. Past experience with a wide variety of military command and control applications, mobile ad hoc networks, content based addressing, and other knowledge representation projects make our Drexel team ideally suited to contribute to and integrate within the envisioned CBMEN effort in this task.
