Drexel University College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) hosted the 2016 Honors and Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on May 26 at the Behrakis Grand Hall
to celebrate and recognize undergraduate and graduate students for their exceptional academic achievements during the 2015-16 academic year.
The scholarships and awards were divided into three categories: undergraduate awards, graduate awards, and doctoral awards. Thirteen undergraduate
students, 20 graduate students – including four doctoral students – received accolades at the ceremony.

In his opening remarks, CCI Interim Dean
Spiros Mancoridis, PhD recognized the College’s academic advising team, who were recently awarded Drexel’s
inaugural
Innovation in Academic Advising Award, in recognition of their
exceptional service to students and the University. Academic advisors Alison Stoute, Haley Dervinis, Greta Kazenski, and Eric Kennedy were also honored at
the Provost Awards Dinner on May 25.
