Drexel University’s College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) is pleased to present a closing reception for “Stories in Self-Portraits,” curated by Tim Gorichanaz, PhD information studies ’18.

This event will feature a brief talk by Gorichanaz discussing his inspiration and process behind the exhibit. Following the talk, artists from “Stories in Self Portraits” will lead a workshop for attendees to learn how to create their own self-portraits (supplies will be provided).

Hors d’oeuvres and beer/wine will be provided courtesy of Drexel Alumni. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Exhibit

“Stories in Self-Portraits” grew out of the PhD dissertation of CCI graduate Tim Gorichanaz, ‘18 on the intersection of art and information and exploring the experiences of local artists making their own self-portraits and the process involved. Located in the Rincliffe Gallery (third floor, Main Building), the exhibition runs through July 27, 2018 and is free and open to the public. Learn more at http://selfportraiture.info/
