On May 16, 2018 CASTLE hosted a Summit in coordination with Institutional Advancement. The Summit brought together thought leaders from industry, foundations and education who share CASTLE’s mission: to affect institutional change in STEM teaching and learning across the educational spectrum by conducting, catalyzing and supporting fundamental research. Through the Summit, CASTLE sought input and feedback on our accomplishments to date and recommendations for future initiatives and partnerships.

Summit attendees were able to learn more in-depth about CASTLE’s initiatives, participate in a lesson facilitated by a DragonsTeach Master Teacher and student teacher, and hear from a panel of current and future faculty who have participated in CASTLE programming. The Summit concluded with a round-table discussion of how partnerships can be formed going forward.
