DragonsTeach Graduates First Cohort of Students

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, DragonsTeach hosted a recognition ceremony to honor the first graduating class! Faculty, staff and students gathered to celebrate the following individuals:
Brean Prefontaine, BS in Physics
Kathryn Volk, BS in Biomedical Engineering
Kyle Hanbicki, BS in Mechanical Engineering
Paul Cheung, BS in Materials Science & Engineering
Raymond Dulman, BS in Biomedical Engineering
Dr. Jason Silverman and Dr. Luis Cruz Cruz delivered a speech highlighting the impact made in local K-12 schools through their implementation of inquiry-based lessons and civic engagement activities in the community. Dr. Mary Jo Grdina spoke on behalf of the School of Education about the future of STEM Education and the importance of contributing to education policy.
