Our school is dedicated to solving problems that impact human health and well being. Breakthroughs in science and technology occur most often when interdisciplinary teams work at the interfaces of existing fields. In the School of Biomedical Engineering, we are committed to the integration of physical science and engineering with biology and medicine at every level of instruction, and we provide opportunities to apply that knowledge in practical work experiences, laboratory research, clinical settings, and service projects – locally and internationally.
