Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students
Students in the Department of Biology have the opportunity to engage in undergraduate research to enrich their education and gain valuable experience working side-by-side with a Drexel faculty member. Students planning to pursue graduate or professional studies are encouraged to reach out to department faculty and inquire about opportunities within their research programs. Undergraduate research opportunities are often on a volunteer basis, but students may also apply for credit for mentored research activities. Students can also use the Discover portal to find faculty members performing research of interest to them, both within Biology and other departments across Drexel’s campuses. The Steinbright Career Development Center also offers important information on available research co-op opportunities.
