Can (Martin) Zhang Named Drexel Magazine's 2014 "40 Under 40"
June 4, 2014 — Can (Martin) Zhang, PhD '07, was recently named to Drexel Magazine's 2014 "40 Under 40". Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School; his research has elucidated novel molecular events that play essential roles in the causes of Alzheimer's disease. Zhang's current work aims to further characterize these biological events, and using these results to identify effective interventions and therapies for Alzheimer’s.
Zhang says, "My PhD training with Associate Professor Aleister Saunders laid a solid foundation for my past and current research findings. In addition, the continued support from Saunders and Drexel has been integral to the success in my research program."
