About the Department of Biology

A view of the seating areas next to the biowall As one of the largest departments at Drexel, the Department of Biology offers a wide-range of studies in the life sciences at the undergraduate and graduate level. Department faculty and researchers are passionately involved in teaching and conducting research in cellular and molecular biology, ecology and environmental science, organismal physiology and development, and microbial pathogenesis and immunology. Faculty and student driven research within the Department of Biology falls under the following five general areas:
